Fridays Added! The weather outside may be frightful, but it is sure delightful in our Indoor Playground! Mission Parks & Recreation Department offers developmental toys, balls, inflatables, and a number of other toys and playground equipment. This is one program you will not want to miss!
Parents must supervise their children at all times. A ratio of one adult to three children is required, unless prior approval has been established by Scott Deschenes, Recreation Program Supervisor. If you wish to bring more than 3 children, call Scott Deschenes prior to arrival at 913-722-8228.

Friday, January 8
Olathe District School Elementary Gyms
Ages 2.5-5 years old. Cost is $60. 6:30pm or 7:15pm. This new program is designed for participants ages 2 1/2 to 4 yrs old and will involve both parents and child in a fun and learning environment. Instructors will teach and demonstrate basic basketball skills and techniques and the parent will assist their child while learning and utilizing the skills in drills and fun games.
There will be Eight 30 minute classes on Friday nights at Olathe District School Elementary Gyms. Each participant will receive a Me & Mini Me t-shirt and participation award.

Saturday, January 9
Olathe District School Elementary Gyms
Ages 4 & 5. 10AM, 11AM or 12PM. Cost is $70. This new 3 on 3 instructional program is designed for pre-school participants ages 4 & 5.Instructors will teach and demonstrate basic basketball skills and techniques during the first part of the program and then break out the participants into groups of 6 to play in 3 on 3 game situations.
There will be Eight 55 minute classes starting January 9. Classes will be on Saturdays at Olathe District School Elementary Gyms. Each participant will receive a t-shirt and participation award.
